We are committed to our environmental policy because at Verve, we believe it is the right thing to do.
We have drastically reduced the amount of waste that we send to landfill by dispatching used tyre carcasses for recycling, where they are made into carpet underlays and rubber-crumb material for laying in children's play areas. Used engine oils and lubricants are sent for specialised recycling for use in other applications.
Used metal parts such as exhausts and engine blocks are separated into ferrous and non-ferrous metals and uplifted for specialised recycling.
We increasingly move towards communicating with our customers and our suppliers by email, therefore drastically reducing the amount of paper that we use. Where the use of paper is presently unavoidable we endeavour to use recycled paper. Our increasing use of email enables us to make environmental savings at the paper mill on electricity, trees, oil and water. Have you given us your email address?
